We're seeking a Senior Digital Designer with creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines. You'll have experience working across activities such as websites, emails, online marketing, interactive brochures and visual identity.
Reporting directly to the Creative Director you'll work to a brief agreed with the client and you'll develop appropriate creative ideas and concepts for the client's objectives. You'll meet clients or account managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job, estimating the time required to complete the work.
You'll work across all Velo clients as part of a team with digital designers, copywriters, photographers, movie editors, motion graphics designers, illustrators, web developers and marketing specialists. Resposibilities include; UX logic and wireframing, UI concept design, presenting finalised ideas to clients, proofreading, demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts.

In this client-facing role, you’ll oversee the planning, messaging and strategy across all Velo clients. You’ll work with the creative director and clients to understand their objectives and audiences, to devise and plan print, digital and video content. for the tone, style and voice of client content.
You’ll set editorial guidelines and blend technical, SEO, and analytics expertise. You’ll lead client meetings and the audit and analysis of projects. You’ll lead the agency’s editorial strategy and work closely with our project managers.
Typical deliverables supported by this role include; copywriting for all channels, website content audits, content strategy for integrated campaigns (info-graphics, video, emails, website), CMS redesigns (taxonomy, metadata, sitemaps, content models, workflow), content channel recommendations and SEO and analytics consultancy.

Do you have experience working as a project manager for a digital agency of no larger than 30 staff? Are you experienced working with WordPress and comfortable with a range of web site platforms to deliver projects that include content delivery, apps and eCommerce. Are you familiar with managing projects using channels that include; digital content, infographics, videos, print, analyst expertise, email and SEO?
Using your marketing expertise, you’ll proactively deliver projects, presenting and explaining ideas to clients and colleague across the sales process through completion. You’ll lead your own projects, develop briefs, manage teams and communicate project plans that create value for our clients. You’ll manage day-to-day client interactions and expectations and provide exceptional customer service whilst being commercially sensible and paying close attention to scope.
The role calls for attention to detail, confidence presenting and explaining ideas to clients and colleagues, and the ability to form and lead virtual teams on project-by-project basis. You’ll obsess about creating value for clients and be comfortable working with all levels of an organisation.
